Happy Pokemon Day!!

February 27, 2017

Hey Gang!

I hope you enjoyed your weekend! Did you know Sunday was #PokemonDay?! Last year,  was Pokemon's 20th year anniversary! I was so excited for Pokemon that I created PokemonWeek! Pokemon related Content for an entire week leading up to the anniversary! If you'd like to see them, feel free to click this link, and *nudge* possibly subscribe to my youtube channel? I create a new video and publish every Thursday!

I just cuddled up with Alex and the family and had a Pokemon Movie Marathon. I fully intended on doing a video for this special day, but it's so cold in my house, that the toggle button is totally stuck, so I'll have to my video in written form.

Leading up to Pokemon Day, Pokemon Twitter has been asking trainers a few questions, and I gathered them all up so I could I answer them here, and I encourage you to answer them as well, in the comments below, or do your own video! If you do make sure you leave a link down below for me to watch, I love discovering new content!

My first Pokemon Online Trade wasn't until very recently. I wasn't one for trading pokemon when I younger. I was so enthralled with every pokemon I caught that I wasn't even thinking about giving them away to someone else. I wound up catching an extra goldeen in Omega Ruby and traded it for an eevee. I was so excited! One of the best things about trading is that you have the ability to get pokemon that aren't in the generation that you are playing!

My first Pokemon Contest was in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire for the GBA. I had caught a skitty and was able to participate in the cute contest. Skitty and I made it all the way to Hyper Rank! I was pretty proud of her if I do say so myself! This was a while back so I wasn't too interested in documenting my gaming.

The First Shiny Pokemon I ever encounted was literally in Sun. I literally have the worst luck when it comes to EVERYTHING, so I wasn't too surprised that I had never come across a shiny before. When I finally did, it wasn't even that rare. I caught a finneon, and noticed that it had a different color scheme! Another awesome thing that occured while I was playing Sun. I caught a Pichu, in the wild, and it loved me enough to evolve into a Pikachu! If you didn't know, Pichu only evolves with a large feeling of friendship with it's trainer and it levels up! So literally, Pichu chose me.

Pokemon Day also brought along the 2 year anniversary of Pokemon Shuffle! I am quite the fan of puzzle games and this brings the two together perfectly! I actually did a write up on the game a while ago because I was so in love. I'm not able to keep playing because it was on my original 3DSXL, and I don't really want to re-download it and start all over! I was on level 37 after all.

@pokemon also wanted to know who your favorite starters were. My favorite Kanto has to be Charmander. In Johto, it is definitely Cyndaquil. Now in Hoenn, I had a special place for both Treeko and Torchic. In Sinnoh, Chimchar takes the cake, a fire Monkey? How could you say no? Although I don't have any plushies of Starters, I just had to show you guys the plushies that I do have! Snorlax, Victini and Jirachi!

What are some of your favorite #Pokemon?! Lets #Fangirl about them on Twitter!!

What Is this Witchcraft? OOTD + VR

February 24, 2017

Hey Gang!

I know it's been a while since I've done an Outfit post, but I really am working on making sure that I am photographed in what I'm wearing it. The issue is a half and half problem. Sometimes I'm looking super cute and it's difficult to photograph with no one with you. Sometime's I'm  looking like a total bum, but have Alex with me, and then I still don't want to be photographed. A double edged sword if you will.

I decided to title this post this way for a very specific reason. The day I wore this, we were on our way to his parents house, because his father, always on the cutting edge of technology had managed to procure an Occulus Rift. If you don't know what that is, it's a virtual reality apparatus. His father mostly uses it for his space game. It looks pretty amazing being placed in the screen, and being able to do a 360 view of the stars, that's for sure.

He was a super sweetheart, and purchased a few games that everyone in the house would enjoy. I went on a rollercoaster ride that made me sick. Who knew I could have motion sickness? It took me a while to get used to it. But once I did, it was absolutely amazing! I started playing this game called Lucky's Tale, which is pretty much a fusion between Tails and Crash Bandicoot, and you move your fox-like creature with the hand gauntlets, and look around with the visor. It was an absolute blast!!

It was such a pretty day, that I decided that it was already spring, and went with my military skirt purchased from Rue 21 and my Mauraders Shirt from Colorful Geekiness. I'd never really been into the whole virtual reality/Google Glass thing until Pokemon Go came out! It's not quite the same thing since it's augmented reality but its still pretty cool. Image putting on the occulus and then being transported into the world of Pokemon. Going into Gyms, Fighting in the League, petting a pokemon. I'm just saying, I would pay money for that!

Also Speaking of Science and Sci-fi and Witchcraft, Nasa discovered New livable planets, and Google made the most adorable doodle for it. I think I like it even more than the one they did with the rocks. I literally just need to work for Google, in their doodle department. When did they become the most kawaii Company? Another way to experience Virtual Reality, is also available through Samsung Phones and The VR apparatus for the Playstation. It's about $1000 for everything, but if you've got that kind of cash to blow, I'm sure it would be pretty epic.

Are you into VR? Do you have Any VR Technology? Let's #Fangirl about it on Twitter!

Nerdette Minute #40: Teen Titans and the Judas Contract

February 23, 2017

Hey Gang!

So Excited to have another video for you guys! I wanted to kind of do a reaction video to the latest animated Dc Trailer. They are releasing an animated movie on the 18th of April called the Judas Contract, which is based of a story from the 80's. I've never read it, so I know there's a bit of misinformation in the video. I've just rented it from the Library, so I will read it, write about it, and get informed for the movie.
With that out of the way, I'm so excited for another animated film from DC, Register is doing it right, their live action department should be taking notes. I have started re-watching the animated Titans series, and I'll be writing about that as well. I hope I won't completely tire you out on Teen Titans. I wrote about Teen Titans V.S. Justice League here.

Make sure you like, and Subscribe my videos so I know you like what I make! Until Next Thursday!

Adventures With Spokhette #10: Over The Rhine

February 22, 2017

Hey Gang!

On Valentine's Day, Alex took me on the most romantic trek downtown in search of nut free chocolate. I wrote a lot about our adventure the day of, but there were absolutely so many pretty things that I just couldn't fit into one post, so I decided to make it two. This one is more photogenic, and full of the places, and murals that we got to see and explore on our journey.

I was so pleased about this amazingly framed picture of Music Hall, that I had to include it, even though we started at Findlay Market! I've written about it before, it's starting to become a favorite. While exploring the market, I happened to realize that there poke'stops all over the area. So we went on a little adventure through Over The Rhine, that is where most of these photos are from.

I also stopped into Idlewild Woman because I guess you guys can guess my aestethic. There wasn't really anything in there that jumped out at me except the beautiful Blue and tan dress, and a beautiful mauve notebook on the desk. The dress was $140, it's beautiful, but I just couldn't justify the purchase, but man, the dress was absolutely ethereal. We stopped into a few more shops along the way,  including Sweet Petit and I got a lemon and blueberry cupcake. They specialize in Small desserts and sure I pretty much inhaled it, but it was so delicious! They create great desserts and the woman at the counter was the nicest. She answered all the questions I had, and allowed me to photograph the shop! I fell in love with these Mat and Nat bags that are vegan and absolutely adorable. They had this laptop bookbag version, and man I wanted it!

I thought the picture above was Marilyn Monroe, but it turns out that it is Rosemary Clooney, A legendary Cabaret Singer! I had absolutely no clue, my mother actually told me before I began to write this! She's from Maysville, KY! Alex also bought me two plushies for Valentine's Day, A Jirachi and a Victini. As you know Victini is one of my favorite pokemon, so much so that she's a tattoo. I was very pleased with my gifts!!

Other than all of the little hipster shops that I was dying to shop in, we chose literally the worst day to window shop. Was that the area was full of building Sized Murals that were just absolutely stunning. Some were kitchy and pop culture based, but also some were about the city's history, and you guys just know how I love that, so I dragged Alex all around the area, so I could photograph them. Even though he has his own street in Cincinnati, Ohio, I literally didn't know who Charles was, it was so cool to look at this mural and then go do some research about him later. Getting out and about is a great way to learn about your city and local history!

One of the super neat places we visited was Holtman's Donuts! A local Donut Shop full of delicious and unique donuts. Alex got a Red Velvet donut, with Glaze and Fruity Pebbles, a maple donut with bacon on it, and I got a plain glazed twist. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to donuts, but I could still respect the thought and creativity that not only went into their shop but their products as well.

All in All it was a great day out had by all. I would absolutely love the opportunity to spend an entire day out there just exploring and seeing what I can get into. I'll have to organize a day to do that soon.

Are there cool local shops in your area? Let's Fangirl all about them on Twitter!

Learn About Me: My Tattoos

February 20, 2017

Hey Gang!

I absolutely love all of my tattoos. It took me a really long time to work up the courage to get my first tattoo. It seems so tiny and inconsequential compared to my others. It's the smallest of the three I have, or the ones that I have planned. I'd wanted a tattoo for such a long time, that I kind of built the hype, by the time I actually walked into the parlor for the first time, I was hyperventilating. There's a video about it. It didn't hurt nearly as I thought it would, or my latest one did. My parents are against tattoos.

They've been very vocal about it. Although, two of my three tattoos are attributes of them for me to cherish for always, they've always told me they weren't "fans" of my tattoos. I love them dearly, and have always held their opinions above anyone else's, and for a while, even above my own, but this is one thing I won't budge on. I love my tattoos, they are here to stay, and my collection will continue to grow.

Of the bloggers, and Youtubers I read and watch, there aren't very many that have tattoos, at least not ones that are visible. Of the few that I do, I love them just a little bit more for it. Not only are they presenting themselves to the internet for whatever their motivations are, they are showing us a little bit of their true selves, one picture, one video at a time, and there is great inspiration in that, for me at least. Jacquelin De Leon, Hey Claire, The Dainty Squid, Izznit, and Keiko Lynn are a constant inspiration for creativity.

My first tattoo was a small one, inside my left wrist, of my favorite gaming series of all time, Professor Layton, His Hat. Layton reminds me of my father, one of my favorite people in the world. His games are fun, thought provoking and heart wrenching. I own the entire Gaming series, every Soundtrack, and the feature animated film, The Eternal Diva. I had the lace added to the original design, because I am a sucker for it. I got it done locally at Love Thy Neighbor.

My 2nd Tattoo was actually a fluke. I am not one to just go into something blindly. Especially something that will be on my body for quite some time (possibly forever). However, I went into a tattoo parlor with a friend for moral support, and I couldn't resist having him draw something up for me as well. Thus, Victini was born. Victini is my favorite pokemon. He embodies freedom, and independence. Psychic and Fire, with a penchant for sweets? How could I not. He doesn't get much love, but that's fine, more for me. His favorite sweets are Macarons, so I had to give him a small pile to consume, I decided to put it on my back, because he's special to me, and I'm much too wimpy to have breasts tattooed. I also am becoming quite a fan of how sexy it looks when you can see his ears peeking from my off the shoulder tops and dresses.

My 3rd tattoo is the most recent. I got it done at the beginning of the year. I had this silly idea, that I wanted to have a tattoo done in every city/state that I've ever lived in. So I swung down to Asylum Tattoo, in Ky. I'm glad that I had the experience, but I definitely won't be getting a tattoo from him again. My tattoos have all been slightly uncomfortable because, its a tattoo, and someone is pricking your skin in a design of your choosing. This one was the most pain, I'd ever felt in my entire life. I felt like I was being engraved. Granted, the lines are pretty and thick compared to the others, but the pain definitely wasn't worth it. This tattoo represents my mother and the innate curiosity she instilled in me at a young age. She and I are quite the mystery fans, and thoroughly enjoy Scooby Doo, so when I was designing the tattoo, the simple flower design from the Mystery Machine was essential. The Magnifying glass, symbolizing curiosity and research, something my mother preaches.

Do any of my readers have tattoos? Lets talk about them on Twitter I'd love to see.

Adventures With Spokhette #9: Valentine's Day in Over The Rhine

February 17, 2017

Hey Gang!

I hope everyone's Valentine's, Single Awareness, or Galentine's Day was fun. Don't forget that you don't need a significant other to enjoy this day. If you are single, you could do what I did before Alex. I would get my favorite takeout, and a couple of my favorite movies and just enjoy my time free from work. The best thing to do is just to spend time doing things that you enjoy, and then sooner or later, someone great will come along who you can share that with.

Alex took the day off to spend with me, which was the greatest gift ever! He took me to Findlay Market to buy chocolates I can eat. I have a peanut, tree nut and coconut allergy; this makes it difficult to buy chocolate because even if it doesn't have nuts in it, it's usually manufactured in the same place with nuts. So we stopped by Maverick's Chocolate. They make their own chocolate, and they create amazingly flavored truffles. We got a box with four mixed truffles. Stout, Lemon + Raspberry, Full Orange.
While we started walking through the market we realized there were a bajillion Pokestops in the area! So we started to explore, and I caught my very first Lickitung, why is it the cutest though? I've never had one before, not even seen ones in the game, so I was pretty pleased about my catch. Pokemon Go had a special going on for Valentine's Day. Any Pink pokemon you caught, you had double candy for them. Making it super easy for you to level up.

Our adventure took us into Over-The-Rhine. Which I've never been able to fully explore even though I've wanted to for quite a while. I finally got to explore Swoon. A lingerie shop that I follow religiously on Instagram. When I actually got the opportunity to check out the shop, I literally couldn't give up the chance. It was just as beautiful as their Instagram suggested. The Clerk had the most adorable bell bottomed Jumpsuit, it was to die for. There was even the cutest little lingerie set, rose pink, with black accents and peep holes everywhere. Of course it was like 90$ but I can dream right? The day I can afford to just drop $100 bucks on Lingerie would be a pretty one indeed.

We then went to Newport and saw the Lego Batman Movie. Can I just say that it was absolutely adorable, and even made me tear up a little bit. It even dealt with loneliness and the ability to have healthy relationships with others, which was perfect for Valentine's Day. I absolutely love, that Barbara Gordon was POC and Voiced by Rosario Dawson. Dick Grayson is my favorite Robin, so I was super excited to see him in this, even if his cape was shiny. I was also a huge fan of the callbacks to the batmen from before, even the black and white serials.

After the Movie we came home and had a homemade dinner. Alex whipped up A baked potato, Lobster tail, Steak, scallops, Colossal Shrimp and Broccoli, by Candle Light. Who knew I would end up with such a hopeless romantic. He was the absolute sweetest, even got me cheesecake slices for dessert.

How did you spend your Valentine's day? Let's compare stories on Twitter!!

Nerdette Minute #39: Why I'm Loving Riverdale

February 16, 2017

Hey Gang!

You guys!! The YOUTUBE IS ALIVE AGAIN! Time really just got away from me. I had to go to a business meeting out of town. I even brought my camera so I could record, but then I realized the internet at the hotel was beyond abysmal so I wasn't able to upload. Then I came home, saw the third episode of Riverdale and knew what I had to talk about instead. Hope you enjoy my comeback tour, I have quite a few things planned for the youtube in the next couple of the weeks.

Handheld Mistress #38: Stella Glow and Gaming Haul

February 15, 2017

Hey Gang!

Last time I wrote about Video Games was LAST YEAR! Sure it's only the 2nd month of the new year, but it's still unacceptable! As a girlgamer, I honestly don't know how time got away from me in this fashion...Oh Wait, I've been spending it playing video games! I recently bought a few new ones.

Nancy Drew and The Hidden Staircase (3DS), Persona 4 Areana Ultimax (PS3), Murdered: Soul Suspect (PS3) and Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters (PS3). No Man's Sky (PS4), God Eater 2 (PS4), Deception IV: THe Nightmare Princess (PS4) and Mighty No. 9 (PS4). I've only played Mighty No. 9, God Eater 2, and Nancy Drew so far. It took a while to get my desk to an organized place, where I could even have room to set up one of my systems let alone two.

I've mostly been switching back and forth from Pokemon Sun and Stella Glow. Stella Glow is currently carving out a special place in my heart as one of the first JRPG, with a drop down, turn based fighting style that I've enjoyed. Most of the RPG's that I enjoy playing have a melee attack style, these certain buttons, equal this attack. Such as Project X Zone 2, or Code of Princess.

Although, Stella Glow is your classic RPG, it definitely has some unique Twists. Not getting lost exploring is definitely one of my favorite things. That they kind of guide the story along for you. I enjoy freedom as much as the next person, but if it means I don't waste 8 days exploring a patch of grass (Forest) and come up empty, I will gladly give it up in terms of gaming only.

This also marks the fourth month that I've been using my *new* 3DSXL. A little bit after Christmas, I couldn't wait and attached one Sailor Moon Sticker to the front and one Cardcaptor Sakura sticker to the back. Underneath my pikachu protective case, it looks pretty trippy. I don't have a bag for this one, because with the protective cover that it doesn't quite fit in my old one. so I definitely need to invest in a newer one. Bouncing around in my bag, hasn't hurt it one bit, even my cell phone charms have survived transit so far.

I also plan on streaming more this year. I feel like I say it all the time but I mean it this year. I streamed on Monday! I attempted to do King Of Fighter XVI but SNK has it blocked. So I switched to God Eater 2 and played that for about 40 minutes. I'm finally out of training and ready to take on Aragami in the battle field. I'm currently researching streaming aparatusi (is that the proper plural form of Aparatus? * Shrug*) for my PS3, 3DSXL and a secret surprise. If you have any tips and tricks for me, please feel free to leave them down below! I love interacting with you guys!

Learn About Me: My Plushie and Figurine Collection

February 13, 2017

Hey Gang!

It's been a very long time since I have done this feature. It didn't seem very popular while I was creating it, but people have been visiting it quite a bit, and people have been asking me questions about myself on Instagram. Which was really weird to me, because I don't really have anyone interacting with me on Instagram, but I guess People are becoming interested in me. I mean, that's why you are here right?
Today I'm going to talk about my plushie collection. Now, most girls growing up had all the stuffed animals, and I was no difference, but now, I'm 25 and soft squishy pillow-like things that I can hug, are still very up there on my wishlists. I came across Squishables: Cherry Pie in Michaels, and I had to find out more. It is the most recent plushie I've bought and its absolutely soft and to die for, and a pretty decent size too! The Squishables Website also has a ginormous array of different foods and characters. I'm currently drooling over the Grilled Cheese, Loaf of Bread and the Floppy Disk. Because why in the world would you say no to a pillow sized fuzzy floppy disk?!
I have a plushie Batman put out by Funko "Fabrications" I haven't seen any more since I bought him, but I'm very in love with him and his batarang! My father bought me the adorable cubed Nightwing. If you want to know why I'm in love with Nightwing watch this video. He also bought me the 50th anniversary Star Trek Set, complete with Tribble, Mirror Universe Kirk, Spock and Uhura. If you didn't know, I'm a huge fan of the original series, more than anything else. If you want to know more about that, there is a whole post on that as well. I also have two Star Trek Figurines of Spokh and Kirk as cupcakes...Because literally how could I not?
Alex a couple of years ago bought me an adorable and decently sized Snorlax. He spends most of his time on my bed, but he made an appearance in my 20th anniverary of Pokemon Shoot and video. He's one of my favorite pokemons and he's so cute and cuddly. Also in the vein of Pokemon and its anniversary, was a 4 figurine set of Pikachu in various poses.

What kind of things do you collect? Lets talk about favorites on Twitter or Instagram!!

I want 2017 to be a creative year.

February 10, 2017

Hey Gang!

I love Youtube. It's such a huge community of creatives. I subscribe to a lot of artists, on Youtube, Twitter and Instagram. One of my favorites is Frannerd, who says that if you want to get better at drawing, all you have to do is practice. I took her advice from her paper video, and invested in a sketchbook. I've decided that I want to draw one picture a day. I thought I would show you guys a few of my favorite drawings, and the supplies that I use.
I've been drawing since I was little, but I wasn't getting any better. For some reason, I kind of stopped drawing and it really hurt my journey on finding my own art style. I could draw other things, but not things in my own style, because I didn't have one. So I figured drawing everyday-ish for the year would at least let me know what I don't like.
I've always wanted a set of copic markers, but they are so so expensive, I just couldn't justify the purchase, for something that I was just getting back into, so I instead bought a set of Ohuhu dual tip art markers, a sized A5 Midori sketchbook and a vinyl orange bag to carry my supplies in. I made the mistake of ordering two really small ones before finding the proper size. So now, I have two smaller guys that I don't need. Alex thinks I should use it for smaller things, like practicing hands and the like. I feel like it is a good idea, but not good enough for two. Maybe I will give one away. Would you guys be interested in that? Let me know in the comments!
I was having issues drawing full figures, so I figured drawing things people and things without bone structure would be a lot easier, but even that is proving harder than I thought.
My father can draw really really well, and said that I could take lessons from him, so hopefully we'll be starting those soon. I have realized that although this sketchbook is by far, fancier than anything I've ever had, that the markers still bleed through the next page, so I have become acustom to using them on the single sheet and bending the other pages in on themselves. My favorite artists so far are: Jacquelin De Leon, Frannerd, Kihori, BiancaXunise, MaisDue, Punziella, and Barachan.

Falling in Love with Film

February 8, 2017

Hey Gang!

You guys know I've been looking into getting better at photography. I've always been interested in film and digital photography, but with the toggle button on my digital camera only working 20% of the time, it has come to photographing with other means. A good portion of the photos taken for my posts are done with either my cell phone or my Ipad.
I'm a huge fan of the photography posts that Dainty Squid and Beautiful Mess create, and I'm constantly trying to read up on what I can do better. A lot of people that have my camera say they have issues with the toggle button, so I've taken to keeping a pack of dental floss in my camera bag, to get the *dirt* from behind it so it can move. In the mean time, I've picked up a couple of new to me film cameras and have been using my Instax Mini, I keep it and two extra packs of film in my purse.

My friend Mary is a photographer and she only shoots digital, so she gave me her film camera, a Nikon N65. I won a Asahi Pentax on Ebay, but it didn't come with a lens, so I'm currently on the hunt for one. In the mean time, I'm photographing with the Nikon. You can tell I'm not use to using film, because I still have the reflex of looking below at the screen for the picture after I take it.
I also want to learn more about how prints are made, and developing film, so I purchased quite a few off amazon. Four color, and one black and white, and I got quite a few film rolls, so I don't mess anything up, before I can get them developed.

I haven't been able to develop any of the photos in my film cameras yet, so instead I'll show you a few of my favorites from my mini, since those photos are instant. The one with the paper heart is my ultimate favorite. It's the most recent photo I took, the night of the superbowl, and since I am usually behind the camera, it made me feel really pretty and happy that Alex, stepped away from Football to get a picture of me under his mother's decorations. I didn't even have to ask! He's the greatest.

Adventures With Spokhette #8: Sandusky, Ohio

February 6, 2017

Hey Gang!

You are probably noticing that there was not a youtube video last week. You are correct. My real job came calling and I was unable to complete my video before I began my business trip even though I really wanted to. So, I packed up my camera so I could film in the hotel, but then I realized that the internet in the hotel left much much much to desire. So I filmed a few videos, but was unable to upload them, so you will see them sometime this week, because I am finally home.

Since my real job, follows a teachers schedule, right before the schedules start up again, we have a ginormous meeting for our photography district and I thought since the hotel is also used for Colassalcon, that it technically fits into what I write about here.
I spent most of my time working on content for next week, photographing my surrounding and playing Cards Against Humanity with my fellow co-workers, and having a bit of Karaoke at Hot Dog Tim's Tavern. (I'm 90% sure that is NOT the correct name of the bar.) I've played C.A.H. quite a few times over the last couple of years, but have never been very good at it, however this last year, something has definitely changed. I had no less than four cards won for both days playing, which is absolutely bonkers for me, so I was very excited about it. We even played with our boss's Boss, that was a unique experience, I highly don't recommend it.
Driving up, I took 71 straight and it was a decent drive, but super dark. I had charged my phone all day before I left, but of course it was close to dying before I reached my destination. So I had to pull over in Mansfield, which turned out to be the drive to the prison (lucky me) and pull my charger out from my suitcase in the back seat. I left about 8 and didn't arrive until after Midnight. So when I got my room key, I definitely just crashed. We had three days of meetings, teaching us cool stuff about our jobs for the new season, and then we had a team dinner, a team lunch and an awards banquet.
The hotel is Africa themed, so there is a ginormous fountain and pond in the front, full of ducks and geese and there are lots of these awesome statues of animals, which I thought was pretty awesome so I photographed them. I felt super glamorous at the awards banquet, and I even won a couple of rewards for my work which made me feel even prettier if that makes any sense. On the drive home, Google decided to take me straight down 75, and I went through Dayton, which I think was my first time, and there were so many things that I wanted to explore, but I also just wanted to get home and rest. I passed three graveyards, that I didn't get to explore, so I was very upset about that, and I stopped to have some sonic, because there isn't one anywhere close to me, and I just had to have some. I tried their boneless wings in the parmesean sauce, a regular tater tot, and their chili cheese tater tots, which is one of my favorite things.

What are some of your favorite restaurants when you travel? Let's talk about it on Twitter!

Checkmate Photography: Robin and Q

February 3, 2017

Hey Gang!

My last roommate and one of my very best friends just had their first child! Marquis, or Q as I affectionately call him is the cutest baby ever!! I haven't had the opportunity to meet him yet, but I know he's going to be the bees knees. Robin called me about a week before and asked me to do a Maternity shoot for her, and of course I said yes!
Photography is my jam, and my day job, and I absolutely love getting the chance to break out my camera and practice! Here are a few of my favorites. I do photography on the side as Checkmate, and you can find my portfolio here, if you are interested.

Are you guys into Photography? Aren't babies just the cutest? Lets chat about it on Twitter!
